Guess who’s back? Amazon Prime Day returns to Australia this July
Another one! Much like DJ Khaled’s tagline, Amazon has announced another weeklong Prime Day sale in Australia next month.
If you’re an eager deal hunter, you won’t have to wait long for another batch of discounts. The e-commerce giant has confirmed that Prime Day 2026 will take place from 12:01am AEST on Tuesday, 7 July to 11:59pm AEST on Monday, 13 July.
Yes, you read that right. Following March’s Big Smile and last week’s Mid-Year Sale successes of a seven-day event, Amazon has committed to weeklong deals madness this July — and there’s no turning back now.
From the latest tech and kitchen appliances to everyday essentials, the e-retailer has secured top discounts for Australia that week; however, we may be arriving a little late to the deals party. Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day will commence from June 23-26, 2026, for the U.S., U.K., Canada and Singapore.
Granted, Amazon Australia just wrapped up its Mid-Year event roughly 36 hours ago, and the July sale is going to be just as turbocharged, so we can’t complain too much.
Not much else has been disclosed about the event at this point; however, we can expect some of the best Amazon AU deals of the year. If you’re not a Prime member already, it’s time to sign up!
Prime Day 2026: what to expect
If Prime Day 2025 sales are anything to go by, we can expect fantastic deals on a variety of products, including Amazon’s own gadgets. We suspect there will be generous discounts on Kindles, Echo smart speakers, Ring and Blink cameras, Fire TV sticks, and more.
If you’re new to Prime Day sales, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime to make the most of the deals. Some benefits include free same-day delivery, a Prime Video subscription, and early access to exclusive sales.
To make sure you don’t miss out on all that Prime Day 2026 has to offer, it’s a good idea to start your trial close to or on July 1. That way, your 30-day trial will cover the entire Prime Week, giving you plenty of time to shop. If you sign up early, you can still enjoy the deals, but you might miss the final window of discounts.
So, if you’ve been eyeing an Amazon purchase or want to shop extensively before the next big sale, there’s no better time than during Prime Day 2026. We’ll be keeping an eye on the deals all week, so check back when Prime Week arrives.
